will is an academic and social program where like-minded social justice leaders come together to enact change. will members have access to a community of will speaker events, meetings, socials, community engagement activities, and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies classes. Members are an active part of the campus community who use their passion for change in every organization and class they are a part of.

Elena Durazo
Class of 2025
Class of 2025 will member, Elena Durazo, helped to organize the Take Back oUR Night march as a response to the college's handling of sexual assault cases. Over 100 students attended the march wearing red to show their solidarity with survivors of sexual misconduct. Read more about Elena's advocacy and the Take Back oUR Night march below!
Olivia Podber
Class of 2022
Class of 2022 will member Olivia Podber used her internship at CVS Health subsidiary, Aetna, to support Medicaid patients. Upon graduation, she plans on joining the CVS leadership development program to continue to make a difference in the healthcare field. Read more about Olivia's healthcare advocacy below!
Amal Ali
Class of 2025
Class of 2025 will member Amal Ali is the managing editor for UR's first social justice magazine, Counterculture. Counterculture covers a variety of topics, including student activism, prison reform, Islamophobia, and racial disparities in Richmond. Read more about Counterculture magazine below!
